App is a good start
Needs to offer auto refill option. Any with the box to “refill” in the list are grayed out even if there’s remaining refills. The list of prescriptions is a maze. Maybe show Rx drug name and collapse history in a pull down, otherwise it’s difficult to know which of the repeated prescriptions is the latest or has remaining refills left. - Example, had to look at details for the third repetition in the list to find a remaining refill listed. Need to allow a better option to add a payment method than coming into the store. Add ability to refill prescriptions with no remaining refills with a delay while you contact the prescriber for authorization. Take a look at Walgreens app for a nice example. I like some of the options with Meijer but you need to work on app more.
Needs more work!
We need to be able to see the prescriptions on file with the pharmacy, even if we have to call to get them filled instead of using the app. We need to know what we still have left on file! Also, there needs to be an option to add the scripts to auto-fill status! Also adding text notification option should be on the app! I see they added when a script is set to auto fill, which is a step forward. I have several scripts that were showing on the app the other day due to be filled in a few days, but then they disappeared on the app. Pharmacy doesn’t know why, but they did already have them filled when I got there. I think there should also be an option to pause refills when you have too much from auto fill. It should ask you for how long you want to pause it. Work on these things and it will be the best thing out there! It will also free up the pharmacy phone lines, which they never answer at my store, yet no one is ever on the phone when I go there?
Medsync in the app is useless
I like to have my prescriptions auto refill especially on meds I take daily. However, I can never plan on a specific date to pick up because there is no estimated pick up date (nor estimated refill date) listed in the app. Also, the app should provide detail about what stage of the process my requested and/or auto refills are currently in. Including if it was sent to insurance for approval, picked for delivery to store, delivered to store for processing, ready for pickup, etc.
It would make planning my week and/or month much easier for picking up life saving medications as they are refilled rather than waiting for a text message to let me know the day or day before.
Also when a prescription is now on zero refills but the last refill has not been picked up yet, the app should keep it active and not move to zero refill. The app should list how many refills are left and how many are in progress of being refilled until both are zero.

Prescriptions & refills
Frequently asked questions
I received several refill reminders at the same time – how should I respond to refill my prescriptions?
Please take a look at the refill reminders and see what letter or number the text is asking you to reply with. Then send a unique text for each prescription with the number or letter for that prescription only. For instance, if you got three refill reminders, telling you to respond with 1, 2, and 3 to refill, you should reply by typing 1 and sending the text, then 2 and sending the text, and then 3 and sending the text.
The system will not place your refill orders if you send all the numbers or letters in one text.
What prescriptions can I refill?
Once you try to place a refill order, the mobile app or Web Pharmacy will let you know if there are any prescriptions that you cannot refill. An example when this will happen is when you try to refill a schedule 2 drug using the mobile app or Web Pharmacy.
You will be notified if you order contains prescriptions that are expired or do not have any refills remaining. You will be able to place the refill order in such cases but your pharmacy may contact your doctor before processing your order.
Can I add multiple prescriptions to my refill order?
Yes, you can refill multiple prescriptions at once. Please follow the steps highlighted below:
Using the Mobile app
- Log in to the mobile app and go to the “Refill from List” tab.
- Select a prescription you want to refill.
- Next, click on the “Order refill” button, this will take you to the “Order details” page.
- On this page in the upper right-hand corner there is a plus sign icon which you can click on to add any additional eligible prescriptions to your order.
Using the Web Pharmacy
- Log in to the web pharmacy and go to the prescription tab.
- You can click on the 'Order refills' button to automatically select all prescriptions that are ready to be refilled.
- Select a prescription that you want to refill and click on the 'Refill' button.
- Once you are on the 'Refill order' screen, click on the 'Add or edit prescriptions' link present in the header of 'Prescriptions to be refilled section'.
I got a refill reminder with instructions to reply with letters rather than numbers. Is this normal?
Yes! When we send refill reminders for more than one prescription at a time, the system identifies which script you are refilling by using the number or letter you reply with. We call these “tie-breakers”. If you have more than one open refill reminder, you will see a message asking you to reply with A and Z, for example, instead of 1 and 9.
How do I answer a refill text message?
To request a prescription refill through text, please respond with the number listed in the initial text. For example, usually the message says, "Reply 1 to refill, 9 for no more reminders." To refill, reply with 1. If you get two messages, and the first says “Reply with 1 to refill” and the second says “Reply with 2 to refill”, you should reply with 1, and then press send. Then, respond with 2 and press send. Each number needs to be sent in their own separate text message so both of your refills will be placed. If you send words, characters, or spaces the automated system will not understand the command and therefore the refill will not go through.
I accidentally responded incorrectly, how do I get texting notifications back for this prescription?
To restart your reminders and to order your medication refill, you can simply respond to any text message from the pharmacy. Please be sure to only text the Rx number, with no additional characters or letters. If that does not work, you can call your pharmacy directly to refill the prescription. Once the prescription is refilled, you will get the notifications.
Can I manage my pet's prescriptions?
Yes! You can manage your pet's prescriptions if they are on file at Meijer. You can add your pet to your account by going to Family Care option and adding the pet there. You will need to know your pet’s date of birth as recorded at the pharmacy as well as the prescription number from one of their current prescriptions.
The date of birth for your pet must match what the pharmacy has on record, otherwise our system will not be able to create the account. If your pet is over 18 years old, you will need to contact the pharmacy directly and have them change the date of birth to a minor’s birthdate so you can add them as a minor.
In addition, some pharmacists might add invalid characters and numbers to the pet’s name, for example, Fluffy (K9). Unfortunately, these special characters will prevent your pet from being registered successfully. To fix this your pharmacist will need to update your pet’s name to not include these special characters and numbers.
Can I view my fill history in the app?
If you select a prescription from the Rx List, the fill history section on the Drug details page will display your fill history from the time that you first created your account onwards.
I can’t find my prescription on my Rx list – where did it go?
Prescriptions may disappear for a few reasons:
1) The script may be hidden.
To unhide the script, go to your prescription list, tap the icon with 3 bars and an arrow on the top right hand side of your screen, and choose Unhide prescriptions from the pop up list.
2) Your script may be expired or have 0 refills left.
The system hides expired or 0 refills left prescriptions after a year. If you call the pharmacy, they should still have it on file and can give you the information.
You can change your hide/unhide settings by going to Account and toggling the Hide expired prescriptions and Hide zero refill prescriptions on or off.
3) Your script may be in a pending status.
For instance, it may have been sent to the doctor for approval or be under review by the pharmacy. In these situations, if you wait for a period of time, the script should show up again in your list. If you have concerns, please call the pharmacy to check on the script.
How does my MedSync work?
Your MedSync prescriptions are grouped in the “Prescriptions List” under the heading “MedSync Prescriptions.” This section appears above the other prescription categories.
If you click on “Next Pick Up” date, you will see a list of your prescriptions.
You can view each prescription by tapping on the name. You do not need to refill these prescriptions, and you will not get refill reminders about them.
Once the prescription has been filled, you will receive a pick up notification letting you know that they are ready for pick up.
If you want to make changes to your Medsync prescriptions, please contact your pharmacy directly.

Pharmacy does deliver meijer
Bread, flour, sugar, candy, gingerbread and biscuits. Separately, there were cigarettes in the window, there was a wider choice from cheap "asters" to expensive "Winston" and "Marlboro". In the corner, right on the floor, buckets, basins, brooms and other hardware goods were placed on the floor.
