Be Smart, Check in Advance. CARFAX — Your Vehicle History.

CARFAX — Your Vehicle History Expert

Sometimes what you don't know can't hurt you, but that's not the case when buying a used car. As an independent vehicle history provider, at CARFAX we've made it our mission to tell you everything you need to know by uncovering as many events as possible from the previous life of a used car. Our primary goal is to help you get to know your next car from the inside out before deciding to make an investment that will be part of you and your family's everyday life. We believe your next car shouldn't be hiding anything from you.

CARFAX Vehicle History Reports contain over 28 billion historical records from 20 European countries, the US and Canada, which are updated daily with new information.

Even if you live in a country we don't collect vehicle data from, it's still always worth checking the Vehicle Identification Number without obligation. The used car import and export market is booming and many owners would be surprised to find out exactly what happened to their vehicle during its previous life abroad.

Privacy for Customers — Transparency over Vehicles

Let's be clear: Although we strive to find every detail of a vehicle's life so far, we are focused only on the vehicle's history, and do not collect any information on previous owners. The information we provide relates solely to the vehicle, its odometer reading, any accidents that have been covered up, where the vehicle comes from and much more — it never gets personal. We've uncovered irreparable damage several times in the past, but other times our vehicle history checks draw a blank — and sometimes that's actually a good thing.

Second Hand — Not Second Best

Did you know that considerably more used cars are sold than new cars? We think this second-hand system is nothing short of fantastic. However, it goes without saying that it gives rise to different methods and tactics: Some sellers will disguise a car that's been in an accident under a fresh coat of paint, tamper with the odometer or conceal theft. This is one of the less appealing aspects of buying second hand. Our goal is to establish trusting relationships between buyers and sellers, since this is the best way to help customers make the right decision. Your new car should be reliable and make you feel safe, as well as make you feel like you haven't paid too much.

But more than anything else, we don't want you or your family unknowingly sitting behind the wheel of a vehicle that isn't 100% safe. This is why we strive to take these vehicles off the road, which not only makes the used car market safer but our streets safer too.

CARFAX — 35+ Years of Experience in Vehicle Histories

CARFAX was founded in the US in 1984 and expanded into Europe in 2007. Around 100 team members spread across six European offices process vehicle information from 22 countries.

Fostering strategic partnerships with registration authorities, law enforcement agencies, government departments, insurance companies, inspection centers and numerous other leading companies around the world has enabled us to compile a unique international database for vehicle histories. We use this database to help make the used car market more transparent. We give everyone in the process of buying a used car access to what is currently the world's most comprehensive source for vehicle history reports, and is growing day by day.

We remain neutral and independent despite our partnerships — our sole purpose is help customers make an informed choice and ensure their safety and the safety of their family. This includes never collecting any personal details — we do not accept any PII from data sources amongst the information we provide about a vehicle. We ensure that data protection laws are observed at all times. Furthermore, we always collect our data in compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks — in all the countries in which we are active. We expressly distance ourselves from illegal activities such as data theft, scraping and hacking.

2013 BMW X5

BMW X5 Expert Review

Staff Writer

Pros

  • Spacious and luxurious interior
  • Acceleration
  • Usable cargo area

Cons

  • Model names
  • Fuel economy with V-8s

The BMW X5 is the German automaker's three-row SUV, and was BMW's first sport utility back when the first-generation model was introduced for 2000. Now in its second generation, the X5 still offers a blend of luxury and practicality with a hint of BMW sportiness. The X5 is offered in all-wheel-drive configuration only, with four engines and many trim levels available.

The base engine is BMW's venerable turbocharged 3.0-liter I-6, which produces 300 hp and 300 lb-ft of torque. The xDrive35d model offers torque and efficiency with its twin-turbo diesel 3.0-liter I-6 making 265 hp and 425 lb-ft, while the xDrive50i inspires confidence with its 400-hp, 450-lb-ft twin-turbo 4.4-liter V-8. If that's not enough for you, a version of that engine is available in the X5 M with 555 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque. Both xDrive35i and xDrive50i models come with an eight-speed automatic transmission, with the former EPA-rated at 16/23 mpg city/highway and the latter at 14/20 mpg. The xDrive35d receives a six-speed automatic transmission, but achieves 19/26 mpg thanks to its diesel powerplant. The X5 M gets a six-speed Sport automatic gearbox with paddle shifters, and is rated at 12/17 mpg.

We clocked an xDrive35i at 6.1 seconds from 0-60 mph, an impressive time considering the SUV's 5000-plus-pound curb weight. The one to beat, however, is the X5 M with a mind-bogglingly fast time of 4.1 seconds. Driving dynamics were also a focus on the X5 M, as it receives electronic adaptive damper control and M-tuned all-wheel drive. Of that performance-biased vehicle, we said, "the ideally weighted helm, responsive chassis, and intuitive all-wheel drive programming [produce] an amazing sense of control and stability."

All X5 models offer seating for five, though seven-passenger seating is available. The xDrive35i comes standard with faux-leather interior, satin silver matte trim, 10-way power adjustable front seats, and split folding rear seats.

A power-adding M Performance Package was added as an option for xDrive35i and xDrive50i models. That package boosts output by 15 hp and 30 lb-ft for six-cylinder models, and 40 hp and 30 lb-ft for V-8s. The package also includes black chrome exhaust tips and stainless steel pedals.

BMW's best-selling SUV remains as competitive as ever.

Having run into the cinema, I took a ticket for the last row. The hall was half empty. I decided to put all my thoughts aside and just enjoy the movie. Five minutes after the start of the film, a couple of young people sat down next to me.

He got up and walked across the living room. His cock is almost completely sagged. Catty thought to herself: I wonder if this division of roles between them was agreed in advance. They seem to be playing with us some semblance of a good investigator and an evil investigator. So that I reach for the kind.

All BMW X5 generations. A work of progress. F15, E70, E53.

A can of beer, sat down on the sofa and looked at the guy carefully. Having drunk the can in one gulp, wiped off the sweat and stood up, went up to Angie, took him by the armpits and raised him. Again on his knees, and when he straightened, the Negro's penis pressed against the guy's face, from confusion Angie did not have time to react and felt how this monster slipped away from him on the lips, nose and forehead.

The smell of semen came from the black penis, a little shit.
